XDefiant Can Be Preloaded Now, PC Specs Revealed

XDefiant, Ubisoft’s free-to-play multiplayer shooter featuring factions from across Ubisoft’s various game franchises, can now be preloaded ahead of its May 21 launch. For those on PC, Ubisoft has additionally revealed XDefiant’s PC system requirements.

The shooter can be installed now on both PC and consoles, where it will be playable on both last-gen and current-gen Xbox and PlayStation hardware. As for the system requirements on PC, Ubisoft has given a few different suggestions on what will be needed, including what setups players will need in order to play on Ultra settings.

XDefiant will support uncapped frame rates on PC, as well as widescreen support and DX11 and DX12. Ubisoft suggests a SSD for the best experience. Ubisoft’s shooter has been a long time coming, having held an open beta last summer only to be delayed multiple times despite nearly releasing late last year. Its release comes even as Ubisoft has recently canceled other free-to-play titles like The Division: Heartland.
